Well we're finally getting great weather - plenty of sunshine and spring is in full bloom. We can't believe May is almost over. A couple of weeks ago we had Jonas and Nadia walk home from school together - no parent pickup. This is big step in their growing up. Happy Mother's Day to one of the best Mom's in town!

Johnny and I completed our second half marathon together after a fantastic final lead-up training long run around the sea wall.

They say April showers bring May flowers. Wow! How time flies! Jonas and Dad taught themselves how to solve the Rubix Cube. On April 1 Jonas solved it for the very first time - with a cheat sheet. April 17 he solved it unassisted in a record 2 minutes 36 seconds - faster than Dad's best time of 3:47! Avo was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer recently but it was caught early enough that the prognosis is good. I flew out to Toronto to visit him and the rest of the family for the long weekend. It was nice to be with Dad and everyone. We caught up on old times and enjoyed the beginning of the NHL Playoffs including the hometown Maple Leafs.
